Terms of Service
summarize In short
- Hlebushek is a paid VPN service. There is a 3-day free trial; after that you choose a plan.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the service (in line with Art. 8 GDPR).
- Subscriptions are paid up front for a fixed period (day, month, year). They do not auto-renew — when the period ends, the service stops until you top up again.
- Refunds: within 14 days of any payment. Crypto payments are refunded in the same coin to a wallet you specify; card payments — back to the card.
- Don't use the VPN for illegal activity, attacks on third parties, spam, or commercial resale of access. We will suspend your account if you do.
- The service is provided "as is". We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee a specific availability percentage.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account section.
1. Who we are and what this document is
This is the agreement ("Terms") between you and Hlebushek ("Hlebushek", "we", "us") that governs your use of the website hlebushek.com, the regional domain ru.hlebushek.com, the Hlebushek mobile application, and the Telegram bot @hlebushek_com_bot (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service in any other way, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
2. What the Service does
Hlebushek is a virtual private network. When you turn it on, your device's traffic is encrypted and routed through one of our servers in Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, and other locations we may add over time. The websites and apps you use see one of our servers as the source of the connection instead of your real IP address.
The Service is intended for protecting your privacy on public networks, accessing services that are unavailable in your region, and similar lawful uses.
We may add, change, or remove individual servers, profiles, and features without prior notice if it does not materially reduce the Service you've paid for.
3. Who can use the Service
You may use the Service if you are at least 16 years old (in line with Art. 8 GDPR). The Service is not directed at children.
You may not use the Service if access to it is prohibited by the laws of the country you are in. It is your responsibility to know whether using a VPN is legal where you are.
4. Your account
4.1. Sign-up
You can create an account with an email and password, with an anonymous one-time account key, or by signing in through Telegram. Whatever method you choose, you are responsible for keeping the credentials safe. We cannot recover an account key if you lose it — write it down somewhere safe.
4.2. One person, one account
One account is intended for one person. You may use it on multiple devices that belong to you, but you may not share access with others or sell, lease, or transfer the account.
4.3. Security
If you suspect that someone else has gained access to your account, change your password (or rotate your account key) immediately and let us know. We are not liable for activity carried out before you reported the breach.
4.4. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Account section in the app or on the website. Deletion wipes your account data and revokes server access. Some records (payment history, invoice records) may be retained for the period required by law.
5. Subscriptions, payments, and the free trial
5.1. Free trial
New accounts get a 3-day free trial with full access to the Service. No payment is required to start the trial. When the trial ends, the Service stops working until you choose a paid plan.
5.2. Plans
We offer plans of different durations (day, month, year, and similar). The current price for each plan is shown in the app and on the website at the moment you place the order.
5.3. Payment methods
Payments are processed through NOWPayments (cryptocurrencies — USDT, BTC, ETH, and others) and through a card-payment processor where available. You confirm the order in the payment processor's interface; the order becomes active as soon as the payment is confirmed.
5.4. No automatic renewal
Subscriptions do not renew automatically. We do not store your card or wallet to charge it later. When the period ends, access simply stops, and you can choose to pay for another period if you wish.
5.5. Taxes
Prices are stated inclusive of any indirect taxes (such as VAT) where applicable. If the law of your country requires additional taxes to be added, that will be made clear at checkout.
6. Refunds
You can request a full refund within 14 days of a payment for any reason. After 14 days, payments are not refundable.
To request a refund, write to support@hlebushek.com from the email tied to the account, or message us in the Telegram bot. Refunds for crypto payments are returned in the same coin to a wallet you specify; card payments — back to the original card, where the processor allows.
For an extended outage on our side that prevents you from using the Service, we'll consider a refund or service-period extension regardless of the 14-day window.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to do, or to help anyone else do, any of the following:
- Anything illegal under the laws applicable to you, including distribution of child sexual abuse material, fraud, identity theft, or trafficking in stolen data;
- Attacks on other systems: DDoS, port scanning, brute-forcing, vulnerability exploitation, intrusion attempts;
- Sending spam, mass unsolicited messages, or operating mailing lists you have no consent for;
- Hosting servers, mining cryptocurrency, or running other compute-heavy workloads on top of the VPN;
- Reselling, leasing, sublicensing, or otherwise providing access to the Service to third parties as a commercial offering of your own;
- Probing, scanning, or testing the security of our infrastructure without our written permission;
- Reverse-engineering or attempting to extract the source code of the application beyond what local law allows.
We log only the bare minimum needed to run the Service (see the Privacy Policy). Where complaints, abuse reports, or lawful requests require us to act on a specific account, we will.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:
- You break these Terms (in particular Section 7);
- We receive a credible legal request to do so;
- Your account is used in a way that endangers the stability or reputation of the Service or other users;
- You attempt to defraud us, charge back a payment without legitimate cause, or abuse the trial / referral programme.
For severe breaches we may act immediately and without prior warning. For minor issues we will normally contact you first.
Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund of unused time.
9. Service availability and changes
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running but we don't guarantee a specific uptime percentage, a specific connection speed, that every server will always be reachable, or that every external resource will always be accessible.
We may carry out maintenance, retire individual servers, change underlying technology, or modify features. If a change makes the Service materially worse for you and you have an active paid period, you can request a pro-rata refund of the unused time.
The Service may not function correctly during outages of upstream providers (data centres, payment processors, app stores, network-level restrictions). These are outside our control.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or special damages (such as lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity);
- Damages caused by your own breach of these Terms;
- Damages caused by force majeure (war, natural disaster, internet-level outages, government action);
- Actions of third parties — payment processors, app stores, server providers — that are outside our control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for fraud or, in some jurisdictions, gross negligence).
11. Intellectual property
The Hlebushek brand, the bun mascot, the website, the mobile application, and the supporting infrastructure are ours (or licensed to us). You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them as part of the Service while your account is in good standing.
The data you submit (your username, your messages to support, your traffic) belongs to you. You grant us only the rights we need to operate and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will give you notice in advance: a notification in your account and an email if you've given us a verified one. The current version is shown at the bottom of the page. Older versions are kept in change history and can be sent on request.
If you don't agree with the new version, you can stop using the Service and (if you have an active paid period) request a pro-rata refund of unused time.
13. Disputes
We'll try to resolve any dispute amicably first. Please write to support@hlebushek.com with the details. If we cannot agree within 30 days, the dispute may be brought before the competent court of your place of residence.
For consumers in the European Economic Area, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence apply regardless of anything else in these Terms.
